Duties
-Plan, organize, and direct the activities of the Intelligence Division.
-Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Oversee a team of 8 mixed AFSC personnel, including intel, Security, and IT professionals.
-Serve as a subject matter expert on Intelligence issues. Represent the Intelligence Directorate in a variety of organizational, departmental, and functional forums and tasks. Advise on the status of intelligence resources and programs, trends, and issues associated with the provision of intelligence support to the acquisition enterprise.
-Oversee intelligence functional management, intelligence operations, customer support services, and Special Security Office (SSO) activities. Responsible for management of Air Base Wing (ABW) intelligence support, Special Compartmented Information (SCI) programs, and the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS). * All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
* Position is designated special-sensitive and incumbent must be able to obtain and retain a TOP SECRET (TS) security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
* If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:

* Drug Testing:
This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Testing Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing.

* Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
* This is a Centrally Managed position under the Intelligence Career Field.
* An advanced degree (in intelligence, management/leadership, or engineering/science) is desirable. Qualifications In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. 1. Knowledge of the intelligence cycle and intelligence policy and guidance, and the structure, organization, roles and missions, and interrelationships of the national IC, DoD, and USAF; acquisition policy and guidance and the role intelligence plays throughout a weapons system's life-cycle; roles and responsibilities of field intelligence offices in support of life-cycle management of USAF programs; across the Requirements, Acquisition, Nuclear, and Sustainment enterprises.
