Hours:

Morning shifts 9:45 am-4 pm, afternoon shifts 12 pm-6:30 pm. Must be available to work Saturdays and holidays.

SUMMARY:

The Cliff Spa offers a full menu of body treatments as well as stunning amenities in a beautiful mountain environment. Our salon offers manicures, pedicures, hair and makeup services, and facials. Come join our team to blend a satisfying career with your active lifestyle.

• Be dependable, punctual and responsible for individual shifts.
• Work weekends and holidays as required by business levels.
• Have knowledge in all phases of the area you are licensed in.
• Have product knowledge and must be willing to learn about the products and services we offer.
• Upsell by increasing revenue through upselling of retail salon products.
• Perform treatments offered in the Cliff Spa Salon such as manicures, pedicures, facials, etc.
• Assist with monthly salon duties such as conducting inventory, listing retail and back bar items to be ordered according to the budget and actively participating in daily and weekly cleaning duties as assigned.

• Utah Cosmetologist License or Esthetician License.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• 1-2 years of job-specific work experience with demonstrated competence.
• Salon knowledge and experience.
• Able to read, write and communicate through speech.
• Must be reliable, mature and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Requires some exercise of judgment within policy guidelines and without supervisory approval.
• Requires some problem solving and initiation of activities within job description and responsibility limitations.
• Requires strong understanding of other Snowbird operations.

Must be available to work Saturdays and holidays. Morning shifts are 9:45 am-4 pm and afternoon shifts are 12 pm-6:30 pm.

• Must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary on occasional times of road closures in the winter.
• May experience unusual stress from high business volumes, deadlines, continual work with public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must demonstrate ability to bend, kneel, handle, reach, grasp and perform repetitive motions.
• Direct and continuous contact with guests, co-workers, management, and other departments.
• Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
