This position is responsible for shipping packages. Assists compounding and dispensing technicians with non-clerical duties. The Shipping Technician demonstrates a commitment to the mission of the Pharmacy and goals of Belmar Pharma.

Responsibilities

* Putting together boxes, organizing shipping materials, freezing ice packs

* Working on the shipping line boxing up medication and putting the correct labels on each package

* Inventories shipping materials

* Conducts job responsibilities in accordance with the standards set out in the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics, its policies and procedures, applicable federal and state laws, and applicable professional standards

* Other duties as may be assigned

Physical Requirements

* Must be able to work in a variety of positions locations such as sitting, standing, squatting, kneeling, reach, and walking, for prolonged periods of time

* Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds

* Standing for long periods of time

* Must be able to use necessary equipment such as computers, scanners, or other technology devices as assigned

Qualifications

* Previous shipping/packaging work preferred, but not required

* Knowledge of Safety Protocols:
Familiarity with health and safety guidelines and OSHA regulations, with a focus on maintaining a safe working environment.

* Forklift certification (Preferred)

Pay Range: $17 - $19.50
