Compensation: $50.00 – $60.00 / hour (Commensurate with experience; billable hours only, created in 3rd party software)
Schedule: Flexible / Autonomous scheduling based on client and direct-care professional technician, or behavior technician availability.
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled, autonomous, and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to partner with us as an Independent Contractor (1099) Clinical Supervisor
. In this role, you will provide high-quality, ethical, and relationship-centered behavioral health supervision to Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), direct-care professional technicians, or behavior technicians, and manage individualized behavior intervention plans for clients across Utah, (as needed).
As an independent contractor, you will enjoy complete control over your schedule, have the freedom to accept or decline cases to fit your preferred caseload volume, and manage your own clinical approach within the bounds of evidence-based practice and ethical guidelines related to the above roles.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Supervision: Provide regular, high-quality clinical supervision and mentorship to RBTs and direct-care staff in accordance with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) requirements.
- Assessments & Treatment Planning: Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and design evidence-based, individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) (as needed).

Collaboration:
Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions to maximize generalization and ensure a holistic treatment approach. - Data Analysis & Program Modification: Routinely monitor, graph, and analyze client data to make objective, clinically appropriate program modifications.
- Documentation: Maintain timely, highly accurate clinical notes and progress reports that comply with major insurance funding sources and Utah State Medicaid guidelines.
To legally and safely provide contracted services in this role, you must possess:
- Certification: Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing with the BACB.
- State Licensure: Active license as a Behavior Analyst from the Utah Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL).
- Supervision Credentials: Completed the BACB 8-hour supervision training standard to supervise RBTs and/or BCaBAs.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience designing behavior intervention plans and providing clinical supervision (preferred).
- Business Essentials: Must maintain your own Professional Liability Insurance (Malpractice Insurance) and possess a valid NPI number.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a federal and Utah State background check (DHS/DOPL compliance).
- Maximum Flexibility: Set your own hours, design your optimal workspace (hybrid/field/telehealth), and choose your own caseload size.
- Premium Hourly Rates: Highly competitive hourly compensation for billable clinical hours, assessments, and parent training.
- Administrative Support: Receive support from our intake team, credentialing support, so you can focus strictly on clinical outcomes.
This is an Independent Contractor (1099) position, not a W-2 employment opportunity. The contracted BCBA is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local self-employment taxes. No traditional employment benefits (such as health insurance, paid time off, or 401k matching) are provided under this contract.
