The Public Space Supervisor plays a key on-site leadership role, ensuring all shared spaces consistently reflect Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest comfort.
Job SummaryThe Public Space Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily cleanliness, organization, and appearance of all public and back-of-house areas at Black Desert Resort. This role leads and supports Public Space Attendants, coordinates cleaning schedules, conducts inspections, and ensures all spaces meet brand, safety, and sanitation standards.
The position requires hands-on supervision, strong attention to detail, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced, guest-facing resort environment.

Pay Rate: $21.00 – $23.50/hour. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Key Responsibilities including but not limited to
- Supervise daily cleaning and maintenance of all public spaces including lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, offices, restaurants, and event spaces.
- Lead, train, schedule, and support Public Space Attendants to ensure consistent execution of cleaning standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of public areas and address deficiencies promptly.
- Ensure proper use, storage, and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Coordinate cleaning schedules around peak guest traffic, events, and resort operations.
- Respond to guest requests or service recovery needs related to cleanliness and presentation.
- Maintain compliance with safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
- Communicate effectively with Housekeeping leadership, Engineering, Events, and Food & Beverage teams.
- Assist with special projects, deep cleaning, and seasonal preparation.
- Complete daily logs, checklists, and reports as required.
- Support training and onboarding of new housekeeping team members.
- Uphold Black Desert Resort’s ultra-premium service and cleanliness standards.
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience in a hotel, resort, or commercial environment preferred.
- Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead by example in a hands-on role.
- Strong communication and team leadership abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety standards preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays.
