Laundry Attendant – Seasonal

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper care of all linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundered items used by Zion Lodge. This position involves operating laundry machinery, folding and sorting linens, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and supporting guest and staff cleanliness standards.

• Operate laundry machines including washers, dryers, and folding machines.
• Sort soiled linens and load them into washing machines, ensuring proper detergent usage.
• Monitor and maintain laundry supplies; report shortages to Laundry Supervisor.
• Inspect finished items for cleanliness and quality; re‑wash if necessary.
• Fold, sort, and organize cleaned linens and towels for distribution.
• Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
• Report malfunctioning equipment for maintenance.
• Assist with inventory control of linens and uniforms.
• Deliver clean laundry to housekeeping, food & beverage, and other departments as needed.
• Serve as an ambassador of Destination Zion Lodge, modeling the culture with guests and employees.
• Uphold a professional image and strive to exceed guest expectations.

• Prior experience in a commercial laundry facility is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Capability to work independently and in a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to adapt to changing work conditions and remain calm and friendly.
• Knowledge of proper laundry care techniques and safety protocols is a plus.
• Integrity and reliability; honesty, punctuality, and a positive attitude.

• Understand and follow all ESQ procedures applicable to job duties.
• Maintain a safety‑first attitude and minimize environmental impact.
• Treat customers, coworkers, and leaders with respect and provide a hospitable service atmosphere.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
• Report defective or missing PPE, or equipment that does not fit properly, to your Manager.

• Hourly pay starting at $17.20, adjusted based on experience.
