The Gonzo Inn, Moab’s premier desert‑chic boutique hotel, is seeking a passionate and experienced Front Desk Manager to lead our front‑of‑house operations. Located in the heart of downtown Moab, just steps from iconic red rock adventures, we offer more than a job — we offer a lifestyle surrounded by breathtaking landscapes and a dynamic, guest‑focused team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, motivate, and develop the Front Desk team while overseeing daily operations
- Manage dynamic pricing, BAR rates, specials, and occupancy to maximize revenue
- Master and train staff on Room Master PMS, including new features and reporting tools
- Oversee integration with major OTAs (, Expedia, etc.) and ensure data accuracy
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences by resolving issues promptly and professionally
- Monitor online reviews and surveys, responding personally or escalating when needed
- Prepare and analyze sales, marketing, and occupancy reports for leadership
- Create weekly schedules, manage time‑off requests, and maintain 24/7 on‑call support
- Maintain the highest standards for the front desk, lobby, and gift shop areas
- Competitive Salary

- Minimum 2–3 years of Front Desk supervisory or managerial experience in hospitality
- Strong knowledge of property management systems (Room Master preferred)
- Proven track record in revenue management, guest service excellence, and team leadership
- Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Passion for hospitality and Moab’s unique adventure culture
