Front Desk Agent – Cliff Lodge, Snowbird Resort

Location: Salt Lake City, Utah (Cliff Lodge, Snowbird Resort)

Status: Seasonal

Schedule: Friday – Tuesday (Friday/Saturday/Sunday 3PM–10PM; Monday/Tuesday 7AM–3PM). Availability required for both shifts, including weekends and holidays. Schedules may vary from early morning to late evening based on business levels.

SUMMARY As a seasonal Cliff Lodge Front Desk Agent at Snowbird, you are responsible for providing excellent customer service throughout our guests’ stay by exceeding their expectations and performing all duties regarding the operation of the front desk.

• Check guests in and out in a professional and friendly manner.
• Display the ability to communicate discount and upsell strategies.
• Accommodate guests’ special requests and VIP arrivals with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism.
• Book lodging reservations using knowledge of occupancy levels and answer Softphone calls when appropriate.
• Respond to guest questions and take action to resolve customer complaints.
• Verify guest payments: process credit cards and protect guest privacy.
• Assist guests with restaurant and spa reservations and general knowledge of the resort.
• Post after‑hours sundries shop charges in the PMS system.
• Assist guest services (concierge) when needed.
• Update guest tiles with phone number & email address at check in.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hotel receptionist job experience is a plus.
• Great listening, speaking, presentation, and upsell skills.
• Multitasking is a must.
• Strong organizational skills.
• 18 years of age or older.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well under pressure.

Must be available to work both shifts based on business needs, including weekends and holidays. Schedules may vary from early morning to late evening depending on business levels.

• Work is routine in pleasant, comfortable surroundings within the hotel lodge.
• Must be prepared to stay overnight if necessary, at occasional times of road closures.
• May experience unusual stress from continual work with the public, winter conditions, snow night requirements and commuting to/from Snowbird.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Work is subject to frequent interruptions, making continuity and accuracy difficult.
• Must have the ability to interact at any time with guests and other employees in a pleasant manner and maintain good working relationships with others and all departments at Snowbird.
