HR Recruiter & Community Outreach Specialist
The HR Recruiter & Community Outreach Specialist is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process for both exempt and non-exempt positions across the organization. This role serves as the primary talent acquisition partner for operations and administration, while also building and sustaining relationships with local and regional community organizations, educational institutions, and workforce development programs to build a strong and diverse candidate pipeline.
This position requires a self-motivated, people-oriented professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and representing the company in the field.

This position operates in both an office setting and in the field. The recruiter will regularly travel to company operational sites, mine facilities, and off-site community and recruiting events. While at operational sites, the employee may be exposed to dirt, slurry, mud, hazardous chemicals, noise, dust, and other conditions normally found in active mining and industrial mineral processing environments. The employee must be able to wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, sit, talk, and hear.
The employee must be capable of driving to local and regional locations and navigating active worksites.
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be required to attend community and recruiting events.
TravelFrequent local travel is required. This includes regular travel to company operational properties and mine sites, as well as local and regional community outreach functions, job fairs, career events, and workforce partner meetings. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
RequiredEducation and Experience
• 1–2 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including exempt and non-exempt hiring
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience
• Experience with community outreach, workforce development partnerships, or campus recruiting preferred
PreferredEducation and Experience
• Human resources or recruiting experience in mining, industrial, or operations-focused industries
• 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
Additional Eligibility QualificationsSHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred.
