We are seeking an experienced IT/OT Network & Automation Engineer to support and maintain a manufacturing environment. This role is 100% on-site and is responsible for both Enterprise IT Networking and Industrial OT systems
, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-availability plant operations. This position plays a critical role in production uptime, network security, and the integration of industrial control systems with corporate IT infrastructure.

• IT / Network Responsibilities
  • Configure, deploy, and support Cisco enterprise switches and Access Points
  • Design and maintain:
    • VLANs, trunks, routing
    • Network segmentation for IT/OT environments
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot outages
  • Apply cybersecurity best practices in a manufacturing environment
• OT / Manufacturing Responsibilities
  • Support Rockwell Automation environments
    • Configure and manage Stratix industrial switches
  • Work with Ethernet/IP, CIP, and industrial protocols
  • Support plant floor networks including:
    • Plcs
    • HMIs
    • Industrial devices
    • QoS, ACLs, and basic firewall rules
    • Understand and maintain cell/area zone architecture
    • Coordinate with controls engineers and external integrators
    • Troubleshoot network or system issues impacting production
• General Responsibilities
  • Act as the on-site technical escalation point for plant IT/OT issues
  • Maintain documentation of network and automation configurations
  • Participate in system upgrades, expansions, and plant projects
  • Ensure changes do not disrupt production operations
  • Collaborate with corporate IT and plant leadership

• Proven experience configuring Cisco switches and Access Points
  • Must be Cisco CCNA certified (or higher)
• Experience supporting Rockwell Automation environments
• Hands-on experience with Stratix switches
• Strong understanding of IT/OT network segmentation
• Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
• Ability to work independently on-site
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

• Experience with:
  • Studio 5000
  • Industrial cybersecurity standards (ISA/IEC 62443)
  • Plant network architecture design
• Prior work in a 24/7 or production-critical environment
• Experience working with external system integrators

• On-site only
• 40 hours per week
• Occasional off-hours support may be required for planned maintenance or critical incidents
