Position SummaryOMG Federal is proactively identifying qualified candidates for an upcoming opportunity supporting U.S. Army IT operations. This position is not currently funded but is anticipated as part of future program requirements. Selected candidates will be contacted as timelines are confirmed.
Position OverviewThe Quality Control Manager will lead the development, implementation, and enforcement of quality assurance and quality control processes across the program. This individual will ensure adherence to federal standards, contract requirements, and performance metrics, while driving continuous improvement across IT service delivery and operational functions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Control Plan (QCP) in alignment with the government’s Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan (QASP)
- Monitor and evaluate program performance against contract requirements and service level agreements
- Ensure compliance with DoD standards, including RMF, STIGs, and cybersecurity policies
- Conduct audits, inspections, and performance reviews across IT operations and service delivery
- Identify risks, deficiencies, and areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate with program leadership, technical teams, and government stakeholders on quality-related initiatives
- Track and report quality metrics, trends, and performance outcomes
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives using ITIL and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and deliverables meet contractual and regulatory requirements
- 8+ years of federal experience supporting DoD or military environments
- Experience developing and managing QASP/QCP frameworks
- Strong understanding of DoD IT operations and service delivery environments
- Experience with Windows/Microsoft enterprise environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Security+ certification (preferred)
- Experience with ITIL and/or Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with RMF and STIG compliance
- ITIL

- Resume and certification documentation required for submission
- Ability to travel periodically for client meetings and program activities
- Periodic travel to client meetings, planning sessions, or program events as needed
- Standard business hours with flexibility based on project requirements
