Meet the team:

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Dev Ops Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, with a strong emphasis on automation, security, and performance. This role requires close collaboration with software engineers, architects, and IT operations to ensure seamless deployment and operation of cloud-native applications.

Where you come in:

Design and manage scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Deployment Manager.

Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, Git Hub Actions, or Jenkins.

Implement and manage GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) clusters, including autoscaling, monitoring, and security.

Set up and manage Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Error Reporting for observability.

Automate operational tasks using Python.

Ensure compliance with security best practices using IAM, VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Armor.

Collaborate with development teams to support microservices architecture and service mesh (e.g., Cloud Run, Cloud Function).Lead incident response and root cause analysis for production issues.

Mentor junior Dev Ops engineers and contribute to Dev Ops best practices and documentation.

What makes you successful:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Dev Ops or Site Reliability Engineering roles.

Proven experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, etc.).Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Git).Proficiency in Terraform, Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.

Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.

Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Stackdriver, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Splunk).Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud architecture best practices.

These would be nice-to-have qualifications:

GCP certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Dev Ops Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect).

Experience with Anthos, Cloud Run, or Cloud Functions.

Knowledge of Git Ops practices and tools like ArgoCD or Flux.

Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments.

Familiarity with Agile and Dev Sec Ops  methodologies.
