Salary: £29,000 plus £4,000 car allowance

The Role

This is a great opportunity for an ambitious IT Engineer to deliver on-site support to our client based in Leeds. The successful candidate will be an ambassador for TIEVA, professional in manner, and capable of delivering exemplary customer service to end users with a proactive approach. You will work closely with the internal IT team to assist with scheduling and delivering projects of varying scales (e.g., laptop/mobile device rollouts).

There may be holiday cover required for the internal IT team. The client has a production facility; on rare occasions support may be required there, following the client Health & Safety measures and PPE. The typical onsite rotation is 3 weeks on-site with the client and 1 week at TIEVA Head Office (LS28 5QS
) or field-based at other client sites, as required. Rotation may be extended due to holidays or sickness to ensure continuity of service. While on site you will have access to the TIEVA technical team (35+ engineers) for escalations and quick resolutions. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality on-site and remote IT support across multiple client environments, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring end users receive excellent service.

You will work with a broad range of technologies, respond to incidents and service requests, configure and deploy IT equipment, and support Microsoft 365, Azure, Intune environments, and end-user devices. You will collaborate with colleagues and end users, taking ownership of issues through to resolution while meeting agreed service levels.

This is a varied, customer-facing role that requires excellent communication, a proactive approach, and the ability to adapt to different client environments. You will represent the business professionally at all times and be committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

A full UK driving licence is essential, as you may travel to other client sites when needed.

Essential Skills & Experience
  • Microsoft Azure – User and identity management, Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ), virtual machines, networking, and cloud services.
  • Microsoft 365 – Administration of Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, One Drive, and licensing.
  • Microsoft Intune – Device management, endpoint security, application deployment, compliance policies, and mobile device management (MDM/MAM).
  • SharePoint Online – Site administration, permissions management, document libraries, collaboration features, and basic site configuration.
  • Microsoft Entra  (Azure AD) – User provisioning, group management, Conditional Access, and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with Power Shell for automation.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Defender and security best practices.
  • Experience with Windows 10/11 administration and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN).
  • Experience supporting end users in a helpdesk or infrastructure environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Administer and support the Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Manage Azure resources and user identities.
  • Configure and maintain Intune-managed devices.
  • Support and administer SharePoint Online sites and permissions.
  • Troubleshoot cloud, endpoint, and user issues.
  • Implement security best practices including MFA and Conditional Access.
  • Maintain documentation and provide technical support to users.
  • Analytical fault finding on networks and systems including servers, switches, firewalls & routers.
  • Deployment, maintenance and repair of end-point systems.
  • Password resets, profile repairs/configurations, new starters, mail release/block.
  • Communication of information to technical and non-technical users.
The Candidate

Pivotal to the role is your ability to effectively communicate with the client and forge strong relationships. A customer-first mentality, solid experience in 1st and 2nd line IT support, experience in service desk environments (ideally in an MSP), excellent customer service skills, and familiarity with Data centre Technologies and Cloud Services are desirable.…
