Team Leader – Client Services

The Role

The Team Lead partners closely with the client, routinely reviewing key metrics, trends, and challenges, and serves as the primary point of contact for issue resolution and escalations. The role is highly data driven, requiring strong analytical capability to interpret recruiting data, prepare reports, and present insights to clients and internal leadership.

Key Accountabilities
  • Managing a team of diverse individuals, setting them up for success and enabling them to grow their careers
  • Setting clear objectives and having regular quality conversations (weekly 121s) to discuss individual performance, development and wellbeing
  • Talent champion – training, coaching & advising your team to build its technical and strategic capability. Ensuring development plans in place for each member of the team and discussed regularly
  • Recognizing and rewarding growth, promoting talent and addressing underperformance
  • Leading & inspiring high performance, driving team performance to ensure successful delivery against key metrics through engagement and accountability
  • Regular and informal touch points to discuss performance: resolving issues, sharing knowledge and celebrating successes
  • Support the team in ensuring understanding and application of effective recruitment techniques and the innovative use of available tools. Positive role model, proactively leading the team to think strategically and adapt to changes and new initiatives, seeing challenges as an opportunity
  • Subject matter expert, providing support to the team to drive solutions to recruitment challenges. Helping them to challenge barriers to success
  • Responding to client escalations in a timely manner, supporting recruiters to reach a successful conclusion to any escalations. Interacting with the Client Partnering team and / or client stakeholders as appropriate
  • Maintain accuracy in reporting and tracking to drive accountability, manage capacity & identify areas of improvement and strong performance. Recognizing core trends that might drive change
  • Inputting into talent reviews and succession plans
  • Encouraging teams to think commercially and be aware of potential further client opportunities
  • Utilize account reports to monitor performance of team, identify trends and educate team, client and leaders
Skills & Requirements
  • Demonstrated ability in Stakeholder Partnering, People Performance Management, and Continuous Improvement
  • Strength in Talent Acquisition Expertise, Recruitment Strategy Development, Effective Communication, and Risk Analysis and Mitigation
  • Familiarity with Recruitment Technology, or strong learning agility / the ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced and repetitive environment
