We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental Services (EVS) Manager to lead and oversee our environmental services team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of environmental services operations, and a commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy environment.
This is a non-exempt, full-time position
Anticipated schedule:
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, requires flexibility depending on the needs of the department, some on call responsibilities to include weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Starting pay: $60,320 - $85,904, DOE
Responsibilities:- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the environmental services department.
- Develop, implement, and monitor cleaning and sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate EVS staff to maintain high performance and professional development.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure environmental services meet organizational needs.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and maintenance.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are consistently met.
- Develop and manage departmental budgets and schedules.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and technologies related to environmental services.
- Proven experience as an Environmental Services Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitation standards, safety regulations, and environmental compliance.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to develop and implement effective operational procedures.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in using management software and tools.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in environmental science, management, or related field is a plus.
