Financial Controller

Position Overview

We are seeking a high-caliber Financial Controller to lead our local financial operations during a period of rapid greenfield expansion. This is a critical leadership role responsible for managing all aspects of the general ledger, financial reporting, and local personnel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing finance and a proven track record of handling complex system integrations.

• Financial Reporting & Systems: Manage and oversee all aspects of AP, AR, General Ledger, and financial reporting cycles.
• ERP Migration: Act as a core operational anchor during our ongoing transition from legacy accounting software (Quick Books) to our new enterprise ERP platform.
• Department Leadership: Directly supervise, mentor, and evaluate the performance of office personnel responsible for daily transaction workflows.
• Operational Oversight: Review customer invoicing, vendor payments, and coordinate financial metrics alongside purchasing, shipping, and receiving departments.

  Prepare and deliver clear variance and financial reports to Top Management and the Global CFO via Microsoft Teams.

• Education: 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Minimum Requirement).
• Certification: CPA certification is highly preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 3+ years of progressive accounting or controller-level experience.
  • Demonstrated history of successfully managing and supervising personnel (2+ people).
  • Hands-on experience working inside a fast-paced manufacturing office environment.

  Skills:
  
  Deep proficiency with corporate payroll systems, garnishments, and multi-state tax filing compliance. Current familiarity with Quick Books is required for the immediate transition, with a strong aptitude for enterprise ERP workflows.
