Utah Pet Access is a growing manufacturer of custom glass pet doors, built and shipped nationwide. We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Production / Assembly Technician to join our shop team in North Salt Lake.
This is a hands‑on role working with insulated glass, welded frames, and precision assembly. If you enjoy working with tools, following exact measurements, and being part of a production-focused team with clear goals, this is a great opportunity to build real trade skills in a stable shop environment.
Full‑time position, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM. No weekends or major holidays.
Responsibilities- Assemble glass pet door products to exact dimensions
- Use shop tools to build components from plastic, aluminum, and glass
- Receive materials and assist with inventory and organization
- Operate shop equipment safely and efficiently
- Package and prepare finished products for shipment nationwide
- Follow production schedules and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Punctual and dependable
- Able to read a tape measure and follow precise measurements
- Comfortable working on your feet in a shop environment
- Works well with others and communicates clearly
- Self‑motivated with attention to detail
- Prior shop, construction, or assembly experience is a plus, but not required
- Pay range: $18–$25 per hour, based on experience
- Paid time off accrued

Tools and equipment used include welders, chop saws, table saws, nailers, hot melt guns, drills, glass washers, forklifts (training available), and standard hand tools.
