Type: Full-time

Position Summary The position of Barrel Manufacturing Technician is an entry level role whose responsibilities include operating, milling, and drilling machines, grinders, and lathes in our machine shop. Barrel Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for loading/unloading, maintaining part quality by recording measured dimensions, and continuously operating various CNC equipment. It requires attention to detail and a need to be precise and diligent in understanding and following work instructions.

• Mechanically inclined
• Driven to learn a skilled trade
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety
• Ability to be on your feet for the length of your shift
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and perform repetitive tasks
• Ability to follow procedures and directions with minimal instruction
• Able to work overtime as needed

• Operate various CNC mills and lathes
• Maintain part quality
• Keep work area & machines clean and organized
• Change out damaged/worn tools as necessary to maintain part quality
• Clock in and out of Work Orders accurately recording production numbers
• Check output for quality assurance and document or discard defects
• Identify need for and perform machine maintenance and minor repairs
• Maintain a safe and clean workstation
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed
