Summary / Objective
The Process Operator position performs all tasks involved in the processing of mined ore to produce the company’s products. This includes copper, silver and gold in flotation concentrate and copper cathode. The position follows standard work methods and practices and safe work habits to ensure production, within all of the various unit processes, is as efficient and safe as possible.
Essential Functions- Maintain an efficient and effective process station.
- Listen, understand and provide feedback to team leader or process manager.
- Operate the crushing, grinding, flotation, concentrate handling, acid leach, CCD, Solvent Extraction, Electrowinning and any other process unit as directed and required.
- Run heavy equipment as required (forklift, loader, skid‑steer, etc.).
- Recommend efficiencies in process operations.
- Maintain a safe work environment.

This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, read and write. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel material; and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The position may also involve the use of task‑specific safety equipment.
Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full‑time position, and hours of work and days may vary but are typically 7 on, 7 off, Thursday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Overtime may be required as needed.

Requirements- High school diploma or GED.
