Position Overview
MCM Engineering II is seeking a skilled and motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting and improving manufacturing processes, driving efficiency, and ensuring high-quality production standards. The ideal candidate will be hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and comfortable working closely with both engineering and production teams.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes and workflows
- Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost reduction, and waste minimization
- Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability of products
- Support production teams by troubleshooting process issues and implementing corrective actions
- Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures
- Assist in the selection and implementation of tooling, equipment, and fixtures
- Analyze production data to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general engineering tools
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience with AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or similar CAD software
- Knowledge of ERP systems and production planning tools
