Description
The Maintenance Team Lead position is responsible for supervising plant employees in a mining processing and production environment. This position plans and assigns and oversees highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.

This position supervises all Maintenance Technicians in their day to day tasks.
Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
PositionType and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, 7 days on, 7 days off, Thursday through Wednesday from 7:00 AM to 7 PM. Day shift only. Overtime may be required as needed.
TravelNo travel is expected for this position.
Requirements RequiredEducation and Experience
- High school diploma/GED and completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and maintenance experience.
- 4+ years of mining experience; strong hydraulic, mechanical and industrial skills.
Education and Experience
- Previous mineral processing production maintenance or process plant maintenance experience
- Previous supervisory experience
Authorized to work in the United States.
