Position SummaryThe Shop Associate supports the fabrication and assembly of high‑quality signage, ranging from basic channel letters to large pole signs and monument signs. This position is hands‑on, fast‑paced, and requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to assist across multiple departments as needed. You will work closely with your team lead to ensure all signs are properly assembled, quality‑checked, and prepared for installation.
Key Responsibilities Fabrication & Assembly- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, designs, and drawings (Required).
- Assemble signs including channel letters, cabinets, pole signs, and monument signs.
- Trim‑cap channel letters and complete related fabrication tasks.
- Install LED modules and wiring into electrical signs.
- Handle final assembly of components to prepare signs for installation.
- Assist where needed across departments such as graphics, trim cap, channel letters, and packing.
- Follow daily instructions provided by the team lead or supervisor.
- Gather required hardware and materials for each job, ensuring all parts are complete, accurate, and ready for installation.
- Perform quality checks on all completed sign components.
- Complete required paperwork for each job, including work order updates and sign‑offs.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, keeping work orders protected and in good condition.
- Report daily to the team lead regarding progress, needs, and job status.
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to keep production flowing smoothly.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow work orders, drawings, and instructions (Required).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on problem‑solving skills.
- Flexibility to assist multiple departments and tasks as production needs shift.
- Ability to work well in team environments, taking feedback and direction from supervisors.
- Strong work ethic with reliability, consistency, and willingness to work overtime when required.
- Ability to maintain focus and productivity in warehouse conditions, including varying temperatures.
- Ability to speak, read, write, and communicate clearly in English (Required).
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift 30+ lbs, and work in varying temperatures (Required).
- Valid Utah Driver’s License (Required).
- Good physical and mental health to meet the demands of a production environment.
- Previous experience in signage, fabrication, or manufacturing is preferred but not required.
- Comfortable working with power tools, loud machinery, and industrial materials.

Second shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Overtime may be available based on production needs.
