DAY SHIFT OFFLINE OPERATOR

IN NORTH SALT LAKE, UT

PAY STARTING AT $21/HR

In this position as an Offline Operator you will be working in the Offline department of the North Salt Lake facility. This is a key position in which you will be responsible for secondary function of product, ensuring quality standards and supplying added value products to meet customer needs. The successful candidate will be a multi‑tasker that can assist in meeting the customer demand while maintaining our high safety and quality standards.

PAY: $21/HR

SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY, 6:45 AM-3:30 PM or MONDAY-FRIDAY, 3:00 PM-11:30 PM ($+1/HR SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL)

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete paperwork accurately by following procedures and instructions.
  • Operate hydraulic reelers, electric reelers, lift truck, table saw, rotor and band saw to produce finished product.
  • Physically parallel or coil conduit to requirements.
  • Inspect products for non‑conformance of quality and report any such findings. Process cable to specific requirements.
  • Assist grinding crew in the disposal of scrap duct.
  • Maintain and clean equipment, and report any defects.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
  • Promote a safe work environment.
  • Assist in training of new associates.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and policies for this position.
  • Perform all additional duties as directed by Management.
This is what it takes:
  • Prior forklift experience required.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English, fluently, with an ability to perform simple math, and to take measurements. Bilingual a Plus!
  • Nice to have:
    Previous manufacturing experience.
  • Understanding of paperwork, procedures and documentation.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance.
  • Must repeatedly grip duct with hands and hold arms over head when paralleling.
  • Ability to squat, bend, stoop, stand and remain stationary.
  • Ability to be around objects that are moving in a circular motion.
  • Ability to spend up to 8 hours a shift on foot.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • Manufacturing floor environment.
  • Non climate controlled facility.

For Tuition reimbursement you must be a full‑time employee and complete one continuous year of employment. You will receive $5,000 a year for undergrad and $7,500 a year for grad*.
