Location: Redmond, UT

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM

Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on experience

About Us

Nielsen's Arc Service is a growing leader in heavy equipment repair, steel fabrication, machining, line boring, and wear solutions serving the mining, construction, aggregate, and industrial industries throughout the Western United States. Operating on more than 8 acres with over 37,000 square feet of fabrication and machining facilities, we continue to invest in advanced manufacturing technology, including our new 10' × 25' CNC plasma cutting table, hydraulic presses, and plate rolling equipment.

As our fabrication department continues to grow, we are looking for an organized and motivated individual to help support our steel and fabrication operations.

Position Summary

The Steel & Estimating Coordinator will support our fabrication department by assisting with customer estimates, Quick Books data entry, steel inventory, receiving, purchasing, and customer billing. This position works closely with our fabrication team to help keep projects organized from quote to completion.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare customer estimates and quotations
  • Enter estimates, invoices, and sales orders into Quick Books
  • Receive and verify incoming steel shipments
  • Maintain accurate steel inventory records
  • Assist with purchasing steel and fabrication materials
  • Coordinate customer billing and invoicing
  • Track job costs and project profitability
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and suppliers
  • Assist with scheduling fabrication projects
  • Perform additional office and project support duties as needed
Qualifications
  • Quick Books experience is required
  • Strong computer and data entry skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Blueprint reading (preferred but not required)
