Material Coordinator

Job Summary

The Material Coordinator shall manage parts removed from multiple aircraft and stored until maintenance is completed and reinstallation on the aircraft is required. This includes receipt, delivery and tracking status. The Material Coordinators will work with local production technicians and schedulers to insure parts processed for storage are delivered back to the aircraft to meet the aircraft production schedule. Attention to detail, following verbal and written instructions, MS Windows experience and the ability to learn a proprietary computer system is required.

This may include manual lifting up to 50 lbs. driving lightweight motor vehicles, i.e. golf cart or mule, and delivery/pickup of material in Depot Supply or other outlying areas.

The ability to brief status and speak well before an audience of management and coworkers on a daily basis is required.

Knowledge of aircraft terminology, parts and Air Force material systems is a plus. Experience using Material Processing System (MPS) or similar systems are a plus.

Must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be detail oriented. Must have experience in MS Windows, Word and Outlook programs. Must be able to pass a local government security clearance (based on criminal & financial background). Must be able to pass background check, physical and drug screen.

Secret Clearance Preferred.
