Your new roleAs Associate Director, Head of Marketing and Business Development (Marketing & BD), you'll lead the strategic vision for Novo Nordisk Philippines' marketing and BD function. This is a pivotal role where you'll translate global ambition into local impact, building insight‑driven strategies that strengthen brand performance and drive commercial growth across our portfolio. You will also orchestrate partnerships with e‑health, online partners, adopting consumer‑driven commercial mindset to drive performance in both obesity and diabetes markets.
Your responsibilities will include:
Commercial Marketing- Develop a mid to long-term go-to-market transformation with strong emphasis on portfolio marketing strategy, life cycle management, activate campaigns, and provide strong guidance for marketing and sales execution, while working according to business ethical procedures, local law, NNWay, and NN policies and guidelines
- Leads the development, implementation and evolution of mid to long marketing strategies to drive sales growth, market share and brand awareness
- Possesses an in-depth understanding of channel-specific dynamics (e.g hospital, retail, e-commerce, public, private etc.) as well as current and future market landscape and develops strong pre‑launch and launch plans to ensure high launch readiness and accelerated uptake
- Deploys lifecycle management strategies to anticipate and navigate loss of exclusivity (LOE) to optimize brand performance throughout the product lifecycle
- Partners with external agencies and organizations (e.g telemedicine, SEM, CEO, social media) to drive customer value and commercial outcomes
- Input to the mid-term sales forecast process based on solid market insights and assumptions.
- Anticipates financial opportunities and risks, and utilizes scenario planning and contingency planning to mitigate risks and leverage opportunities
- Proactively adjusts investments and reallocates resources to meet changing product/market circumstances to maximize financial performance of the brand(s)/portfolio
- Explore and identify business opportunities in eHealth, patient‑journey simplification, and consumer‑driven ecosystems across Obesity and other disease areas.
- Evaluate and shape potential business models, sales channels, and pricing strategies tailored to Obesity and diabetes and propose new business models and business sustainable source of business.
- Scout, identify, and assess potential partners to address unmet needs across the end-to-end patient journey, with a focus on innovative solutions.
- Conduct due diligence on partnership opportunities, including financial viability and strategic alignment; develop and provide detailed partnership evaluations and recommendations to ensure alignment with organizational objectives; lead partnership negotiations and establish agreements aligned to business goals and patient needs.
- Monitor and manage partnership performance to ensure delivery outcomes and maximize impact; build and nurture relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and maximize impact.
- Set strategies for Market Access which includes public affairs in Diabetes and Obesity areas.
- Oversee and take ultimate responsibility for the execution of planned activities, reaching milestones and measurement of outcome.
- Responsible for setting the internal and external communication strategy aligned with affiliates strategy and priorities.
- Coach and guide the team development.
