RN - SPECIALTY CLINIC
Join our Specialty Clinic team at Moab Regional Hospital!

Moab Regional Hospital (MRH) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Specialty Clinic team. This RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across a variety of medical specialties in an outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities, and the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively.

They will be responsible for patient assessment, triage, education, and care coordination.

This position is a non‑exempt, full‑time, benefitted position.

Anticipated schedule: Full time (40 hours per week) Monday–Friday, 08:00‑17:00
Starting pay range: $31 – $44.88/hour, DOE.
A sign‑on bonus is available for permanent, full‑time hire.

• Provides professional nursing care to patients in the clinic/outpatient setting in compliance with professional practice standards.
• Triage incoming patient phone calls, assess patient needs, and provide appropriate advice or direction.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs. This includes assessing patient's condition, triaging patient phone calls, counseling patients, providing patient education, taking patient histories, performing screenings, and administering vaccinations and medications.
• Assists healthcare providers with procedures and examinations.
• Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.
• Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.
• Participates in developing and maintaining established policies, procedures and objectives; quality improvement; safety; environmental and infection prevention programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• One year of nursing experience
• Current Utah Registered Nurse licensure
• Ability to multi‑task effectively in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve independently.
• Able to lift/move up to 20 lbs. without assistance and lift/move weights beyond 20 lbs. with assistance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Experience in an outpatient setting preferred (Family Practice, Surgical Center, GYN etc)
