American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interim Outpatient Nursing Services Manager position requiring a minimum of 2 years of oncology experience and ONS certification at a Level 4 Trauma facility in Moab, UT.
Requirements- Active UT RN license or compact license currently in hand
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing required
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience required
- Minimum 3 years of recent RN experience required
- ONS certification required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience in a medical setting required
- Strong proficiency with electronic health records required
- Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN) certification preferred
- Infusion certification preferred
- Outpatient setting at a Level 4 Trauma hospital in Moab, UT
- Manages a small outpatient nursing services team of 2–3 staff members across Oncology, Infusion, and Wound Care programs
- This is a working manager role with both clinical and administrative responsibilities
- Monday–Friday schedule with on-call responsibilities that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
- 13-week contract
- Responsibilities include staff management, quality control, compliance, financial oversight, outreach marketing, and clinical oversight of the Outpatient Nursing Services department
- Provides administrative on-call support across all hospital departments as a member of nursing leadership
- Responsible for developing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations for outpatient infusion and nursing treatments
- Oversees monthly departmental financials and annual budgetary planning (operational and capital)
- Coordinates new hire orientation and onboarding, and supports ongoing staff education in oncology, infusion, and wound care best practices
- Builds and maintains relationships with internal and external providers to promote outpatient treatment and grow departmental referrals
- Holiday coverage required for:
New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day - Blue scrubs preferred
