Job Description
Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to dialysis patients by assessing their condition, planning treatment, and monitoring progress. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and safe dialysis treatments while educating patients on self-care and disease management.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and deliver dialysis treatments to patients with chronic renal failure.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with physician orders.
- Monitor patient responses during dialysis, adjusting procedures as needed.
- Educate patients on dietary restrictions, medication adherence, and vascular access care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, treatment plans, and communication with healthcare team.
- Ensure proper maintenance, cleaning, and stocking of dialysis equipment and supplies.
- Current state Registered Nurse licensure in Utah.
- Proven experience in a dialysis setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of renal pathophysiology and dialysis procedures.
- Excellent communication and patient education skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- BLS certification required.
