Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN)

Sacred Circle Healthcare is seeking a full‑time Ambulatory Registered Nurse for the Wendover, Utah clinic.

Job Summary

Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients in an outpatient setting and assists medical providers as needed. Works independently and collaboratively with the clinic team to deliver high‑quality, efficient healthcare.

  • Hours per week: 40
  • Schedule:

    7:45 am – 8:30 pm, Monday‑Friday; evening and weekend work may be required as needed.
Responsibilities
  • Clinical Practice and Quality of Care
    • Perform nursing interventions by collaborating with the interprofessional team and applying appropriate standards of care.
    • Assess and collect data related to patient health status and develop the plan of care.
    • Evaluate patient response to the plan of care and adjust as needed in collaboration with the team.
    • Assume responsibility and accountability for managing nursing care of individual patients.
    • Document nursing assessments and interventions comprehensively and integratively.
    • Provide care that is safe, ethical, patient‑centered, culturally congruent, and evidence‑based.
  • Skills and Responsibilities
    • Telephone, EMR, and in‑person triage for symptom management.
    • Assist in the management of urgent and emergent patient care situations.
    • Review and act on test results as directed by the provider.
    • Manage communications from patients and staff.
    • Initiate and monitor intravenous (IV) infusions.
    • Assist or perform procedures within scope (e.g., ECG, wound care, injections).
    • Provide patient education and execution of delegation protocols.
    • Assist with medication management.
    • Complete accurate and timely documentation in the EMR.
    • Serve as a mentor and resource to others.
    • Coordinate care across multiple teams, both in‑house and out‑of‑house.
    • Assist with the management of patients with multiple chronic conditions, acute episodes, and behavioral health changes while promoting prevention and wellness.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education:

    Graduate of School of Nursing.
  • Experience:

    Relevant RN experience.
  • License:
    Registration as a registered nurse in Utah.
  • Certification: ACLS certification.
Preferred Requirements
  • Education:

    Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Experience:

    Six months RN experience.
  • Certification: PALS certification.
  • Additional:
    Experience working with the Native American community and in an acute or emergency care setting.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Document patient care in an electronic medical record.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Make knowledgeable clinical assessments and judgments.
  • Educate staff and provide counseling and emotional support with compassion and respect.
  • Support the care team and work independently with initiative.
  • Maintain confidentiality of medical records.
