Sacred Circle Healthcare is seeking a full‑time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Wendover, Utah clinic. As a health division of the Confederated Tribes of the Goshute Reservation, we preserve the Goshute heritage of protecting and caring for family and extend that tradition to all marginalized and underserved populations in our area. Job SummaryResponsible for providing care to patients in the clinic following established clinical standards and practices. Works autonomously as well as collaboratively with the entire clinic team to ensure the delivery of high quality and efficient health care. Reports to the Medical Director. Primary Care department, full‑time, 40 hours per week, location:
Wendover, Utah.
Work schedule:
To be determined with availability 8:00 am–8:00 pm Monday through Friday, typically three 12‑hour shifts per week. Additional evening and weekend work may be required depending on position requirements.

- Oversee and direct patient care.
- Recognize, report, and document changes in patients’ psychological, behavioral, and medical status.
- Obtain and document complete medical history and physical examination of patients.
- Interpret and integrate data to determine and order appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures or specialty referrals.
- Manage medical and surgical needs of patients in accordance with scope of practice and established credentialing agreements.
- Reconcile patient medication and allergies; assess patient’s understanding and address barriers to compliance.
- Administer medications and injections according to established practice protocols.
- Provide patient education and advise regarding health and illness prevention.
- Recommend community resources to meet patient and family needs.
- Maintain and review patient records, charts, and other pertinent information.
- Post patient labs and imaging study results according to practice policy.
- Document in a timely fashion.
- Triage patient telephone calls and provide consultation.
- Provide monitoring and continuity of care between provider visits.
- Assist management in onboarding care staff and provide competency checks as directed.
- Participate in after‑hours call as required.
- Promote patient satisfaction in all clinical settings.
- Renew all required licenses and complete required educational courses timely.
- Attend required meetings and participate in committees as requested.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and professional conduct.
- Understand and adhere to prescribing and scope of practice regulations.
- Read and adhere to all Sacred Circle Health Care policies and procedures.
- Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Values statements.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting as a Nurse Practitioner or at least 2 years as an RN prior to nurse practitioner school.
- Valid DEA number.
- State registered nurse license with the ability to prescribe controlled substances (APRN, APRN‑CS).
- Active national certification from an accreditating board (e.g., AANP, ANCC, PNCB).
- BLS provider/CPR certification.
- Preferred:
Experience working with the Native American community. - Preferred:
Experience in an acute or emergency care setting.
- Master’s degree in physician assistant education.
- At least one year of clinical experience as a physician assistant.
- Valid DEA number.
- State license to practice medicine.
- Active national certification credential (PA‑C).
- BLS provider/CPR certification.
- Preferred:
Experience working with the Native American community.
