Registered Nurse - Hospice

$1849.60/week -

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality end-of-life care to patients and their families. The RN will assess patient needs, manage symptoms, and support both patients and their families within a hospice environment.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ health status and develop personalized care plans.
• Administer pain management and symptom control in accordance with hospice guidelines.
• Educate patients and families on disease progression, self-care, and end-of-life considerations.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, social workers, and chaplains.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Participate in weekly on-call rotations, responding promptly to patient needs within 45 minutes.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current RN license in Utah or a compact state.
• Possess at least 3 years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice, home health, or palliative care.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment abilities and attention to detail.
• Exhibit excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for home visits.
• Current BLS certification required; EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to work 1-3 on-call shifts per week, including weekends and holidays.
