Selective Placement Factor

This position requires a valid driver’s license. The incumbent must regularly operate light‑duty motor vehicles up to 10,000 pounds, such as pick‑up trucks, panel trucks, or flatbed trucks, to transport personnel, materials, or equipment to work sites located on the park’s grounds.

Volunteer Experience

Experience, whether paid or unpaid, including volunteer work through programs such as the Peace Corps, Ameri Corps, or other organizations, will be considered. Volunteer work demonstrates critical competencies and may provide credit for qualifying experience.

CTAP/ICTAP Eligibility

Current surplus and current or former displaced federal individuals with special priority under CTAP or ICTAP must meet all OPM qualification standards, selective placement factors, and be physically qualified. Applicants must provide required documentation (agency notice, performance rating, SF‑50) and note CTAP/ICTAP eligibility in the application.
