Veterinary Technician Assistant - Specialty

Duties

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, treatments & surgeries
• Administer medications and vaccinations as directed by veterinarians
• Perform laboratory tests
• Take digital X-Rays
• Provide critical care for animals in need
• Assist with animal restraint during procedures
• Maintain accurate medical records

To excel at this role, you should possess the following skills:

• Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
• Experience with X‑ray equipment operation
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Previous experience as a veterinary technician is preferred

Job Type: Full Time

Wage: $16 - $23 per hour
