A Brief Overview
As a Sales Consultant with Tri Net you will help power business success by pursuing new prospects, sharing and quantifying our value proposition, and selling Tri Net's comprehensive solution which includes access to benefits, payroll, and HR services to companies with 5-99 employees within your designated territory.
Responsibilities- Plan:
Develop an annual plan to hit targets in a defined territory, covering multiple states/regions and a diverse portfolio of industries. - Prospect:
Build a balanced pipeline of target prospects through traditional means (cold calling, email, phone, Linked In) and by leveraging ecosystem partners for referrals. - Qualify opportunities:
Assess target market and decision‑making personas to quickly qualify or disqualify prospects. - Value & consultative selling:
Establish a trusted advisor relationship to gain long‑term client relationships. - Sales process:
Utilize a sophisticated multi‑step selling process with defined criteria, executive sponsorship and internal business processes, balancing multiple opportunities in a typical 3‑6 month cycle. - Sales tools & systems:
Use , Linked In Sales Navigator, Zoominfo and quoting tools to manage daily activities. - Achieve quota target by meeting sales activity metrics.
- Complete all administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate Tri Net’s core values daily.
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all policies and standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience: Typically 1+ years B2B complex sales cycle required.
- Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels and build your own book of business.
- Ability to forge strong ecosystem partnerships and referral relationships.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and sales opportunities at different stages.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Dedication to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.
- Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced, evolving business environment.
- Proficiency with technology and common software, including MS Office and
- Detail oriented.
Ability and willingness to travel to prospective clients' sites within your assigned territory.

Compensation & BenefitsThe salary range for this role is $67,500.00 to $95,700.00. Candidates hired into roles in the sales organization are also eligible for commissions consistent with Tri Net’s commission plan.
