ATS Welding is rapidly expanding into a full-service telecommunications, industrial, civil construction and welding company, with a strong focus on safety and quality. We specialize in delivering critical infrastructure projects across various sectors. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to oversee project crews and ensure the successful execution of assigned projects. Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage telecom and fiber crews on a variety of construction tasks.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications to ensure accurate project execution.
- Coordinate daily work activities, timesheets, daily reports, daily job photos, manage schedules, and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and company procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and clients to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project progress and goals.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to crew members, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues efficiently, making critical decisions to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor the progress of projects and report on milestones to management.
- Ensure all fiber installation, splicing, and other processes meet industry standards and client specifications.
- 3 to 5 years of verifiable experience in telecommunications, fiber, splicing or other area related to the industry.
- Strong knowledge of fiber/telecom systems, components, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and willingness to travel for project assignments.
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs or more regularly.
- Must pass a preemployment drug test.
