Field Technician Security Clearance

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is a DoD contractor specializing in range operations, maintenance, and testing.

• Operate a variety of field vehicles.
• Operate a variety of equipment such as aerosol sampling devices and test instrumentation.
• Fuel up generators and vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Work is mostly performed outdoors under changing weather.
• Availability to respond to after-hours alarms or emergencies.
• Willingness to work extended hours with little prior notice.
• May be required to lift and handle up to 50 lbs., and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for tasks requiring gear.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in field test environments preferred.
• Availability to respond to after-hours alarms or emergencies.
• Willingness to work extended hours with little prior notice.
• Capable of working in field conditions.
• Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for tasks requiring gear.
• A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
• Current driver’s license required; must be insured under the company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during hours and for the duration of employment.
• U.S. citizenship required; must hold a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire and maintain it throughout employment.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening, physical, and periodic retests.
• All candidates must pass background screening including SSN, driver’s record, and a criminal background investigation.
