Framer, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Smart Construction is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Framer to join our team in the beautiful Bear Lake Valley. We specialize in building premier custom homes and need a framer who takes pride in top-tier work.

In this role, you will be part of a framing crew and work side by side with this team. If you have framing experience, good learning skills, an eye for detail and a commitment to job-site safety, we want to hear from you.

• Read Blueprints: Interpret architectural drawings to accurately layout lines and material lengths. (preferred)
• Construct Assemblies: Build and install floor platforms, wall framing, rafters, and roof trusses.
• Cut and Prep: Measure, mark, and cut wood and engineered lumber using hand and power tools.
• Ensure Accuracy: Verify that all structures are level, plumb, square, and built to specifications.
• Maintain Safety: Keep a clean workspace and follow all safety protocols for tools, ladders, and scaffolding.

• Experience in residential framing, preferably with custom homes.
• Proficient with standard framing tools, including circular saws, pneumatic nail guns, and levels.
• Physical stamina to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in varying mountain weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to various job sites around Bear Lake Valley.
• Possession of standard personal hand tools and proper work boots.
