We are hiring a Landscape Installer Foreperson Trainee to join our growing team. This is a hands‑on position designed for someone who wants to build a long‑term career in landscaping, hardscaping, plant installation, and crew leadership.
If you enjoy working outdoors, take pride in quality work, and want the opportunity to learn how to lead installation crews, we want to talk with you.
What You’ll Do:- Assist with landscape and hardscape installation projects.
- Work alongside experienced forepersons and supervisors.
- Learn crew leadership, jobsite organization, and production management.
- Install trees, shrubs, perennials, mulch, edging, drainage, sod, pavers, retaining walls, and other landscape features.
- Identify common landscape plants, trees, and shrubs and understand proper planting techniques.
- Learn plant spacing, grading, watering, and plant health best practices.
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely.
- Read and follow landscape plans and layouts.
- Help maintain clean, organized, and professional jobsites.
- Communicate with team members and customers professionally.
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Desire to grow into a leadership position.
- Basic plant identification knowledge preferred.
- Familiarity with common landscape plants, shrubs, and trees is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and good attendance.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor.
- Landscape or construction experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
- Valid driver’s license required.
