Overview
:
Lava Heights Academy is a residential treatment program that provides a safe, supportive and nurturing environment for vulnerable young women referred from juvenile courts and social service agencies. The youth enter the program with a history of abuse, neglect, trauma, substance abuse, mental illness and violence. They graduate from Falcon Ridge Ranch as educated young women who have overcome challenges and have demonstrated making healthy choices for themselves and for their future.
Pay
: $82,000 - $97,000 salary per year depending on experience.

What you will do
:
As a Licensed Therapist you will provide individual, family and group therapy as indicated by program/school needs. Develop and oversee the completion of treatment on an individual, family and group basis. Services include: clinical assessment, service planning, individual, group, family and milieu therapies, counseling, case management, record keeping and service coordination with a multi-disciplinary team. Document and assess the effectiveness of specific interventions toward meeting the objectives and goals of the treatment plan.
To be considered you should:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a Master s Level Degree and current licensure required for the State of Utah
- Obtain the appropriate number of CEUs each year to maintain licensure, if applicable
- One year of prior experience working in a residential/school setting with at-risk students, their families and the Juvenile Justice System
- Must meet the requirements to be an eligible ROP driver. Must possess a current State Driver’s License and have an acceptable driving record for the past three years
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test
- Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry
Schedule
:
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, on-site – not a remote position.
