Duchesne County seeks a Victim Advocate to educate crime victims about their rights under the Victim's Rights Act and to serve as a liaison among the community, law enforcement, prosecutors, courts, and other agencies. The role provides on-scene crisis intervention, support, and referrals to long-term services.
The advocate develops community relations, raises awareness of victims of domestic violence and sexual crimes, and helps families access resources, safety plans, and education.
