Description:

You will be the Software Engineer Senior for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment team at Hill AFB, Utah. Our team is responsible for providing support for Modular Mission Computer (MMC) Operational Flight Program (OFP) development in the Avionics Integration Support Facility (AISF). What You Will Be Doing

Responsibilities include:

• Code development in C++, C, Ada, and Assembly.
• Debugging using Green Hills Multi / Ada Multi tools.
• Target environments will be embedded MIPS and Power PC based flyable hardware as well as a simulated Solaris or Linux environment for desktop testing. [MIPS (an acronym for Microprocessor without Interlocked Pipeline Stages) is a reduced instruction set computer (RISC) instruction set architecture (ISA) developed by MIPS Technologies (formerly MIPS Computer Systems)].
• Maintain code and documentation within established configuration management systems: GIT and Dimensions.
• Participate in Peer Reviews of documentation and code.
• Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance. Must be able to obtain a Final Secret Security Clearance. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Who You Are

Basic Qualifications:

The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college
• Experience with software development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
• Software code experience with one or more of the following: C++, C, C#, Java or Ada.
• Object-Oriented Design (OOD) software development experience.
• Experience using Unified Modeling Language (UML) modeling tools to develop software.
• Basic Linux or Unix command knowledge.
• Software configuration tool experience.

• Avionics software familiarity:
Fire Control, Stores Management or Heads-up Display.
• Software Integrated Development Environment (IDE) tool experience.

• Kennedy-Carter UML software modeling experience.
