South Summit Substitute Bus Driver

South Summit School District is currently accepting applications for Substitute Bus Drivers to support our students and school community. Substitute drivers are scheduled on an as‑needed basis and may drive regular student routes as well as trips for classes, athletic teams, and academic activities.

This position is a great entry point for individuals interested in school transportation. Substitute drivers receive paid training and may have opportunities to advance into full‑time, benefited positions as openings become available.

• Pay is based on the Classified Salary Schedule (current year)
• This is a non‑benefited position

• Valid Utah Driver License and a clean driving record
• Ability to follow safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Enjoy working with and supporting students
• Must pass a DOT physical and pre‑employment drug screening
• Required to complete fingerprinting and pass a background check

No CDL? No problem. All required training and certifications, including CDL training, are provided and paid for by the District.
