The City of Utica is seeking a full-time Deputy Treasurer appointed by the Mayor and reporting to the Treasurer. The Deputy Treasurer acts for the City Treasurer in their absence and performs duties under generally accepted accounting principles and City policies.
Responsibilities include processing accounts payable, managing accounts receivable, cash receipts, payroll and tax disbursements, and bank reconciliations, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and service to the public.
