CNC-Bridgeport Mill Operator

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the set‑up, adjustment and operation of Lathe, Bridgeport, Grinder, Saws, and Boring mill and Drill press machines.
• Works from blueprints, sketches, and process sheets along with verbal and written instructions for running the machine.
• Ensures that work pieces are secured on machining table, holding device using appropriate methods.
• Observes machine to verify quality performance. Sets and adjusts controls as needed.
• Use of variety of precision measuring instruments to check work.
• Responsible for cleaning up of area at the end of shift.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.

• Accuracy
• Able to read and work with Blueprints.
• Can run machines (Bridgeport, Grinder, Saw, Lathe)
• Knows how to Lube Bridgeport when required.
• Able to operate machines without supervision.
