Job SummaryWe are seeking a high-level Controls Technician who can "hit the floor running." You will be the primary technical lead for our 3rd shift automation, responsible for maintaining, debugging, and troubleshooting advanced material handling systems. This is a direct-hire position for a technician who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses deep expertise in Fanuc and Allen Bradley platforms.
Core Responsibilities- Troubleshoot & Debug:
Perform immediate diagnostics and repairs on automated lines to minimize downtime. - Robotic Maintenance:
Manage and optimize Fanuc and Sepro robots specifically for material handling applications (No welding involved). - PLC Support:
Utilize Allen Bradley software to monitor, troubleshoot, and modify logic as needed. - Vision Systems:
Calibrate and maintain industrial vision systems to ensure 100% quality inspection. - Shift Performance:
Ensure a smooth transition between shifts, maintaining high safety and efficiency standards during the 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM window.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven Experience:
Ability to step into a manufacturing environment and handle complex controls issues immediately. - Robotics:
Advanced proficiency with Fanuc Robots and Sepro Robots (Material Handling). - Software:
Expert-level knowledge of Allen Bradley (Studio 5000 / RSLogix). - Technical
Skills:
Deep understanding of Vision Systems and electrical/electronic debugging. - Schedule Flexibility:
Ability to work 3rd shift; start/end times may adjust slightly based on production needs.
