Faro Laser Tracker Operator

Job Requirements & Duties

We are looking for a Laser Tracker Specialist in our Quality Department for our Tooling company in Shelby Township, MI. This individual will be responsible for the following:

• Custom tracker services to measure machines, fixtures and structures for our products for the Aerospace Industry.
• Producing easy to understand and visually appealing inspection reports that include written descriptions, 3‑D pictures and data tables.
• Producing reporting and documentation of inspection results.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Good math, verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Verisurf Software
• Experience with Faro Laser Tracker
• GD&T and blueprint reading skills
• Excellent organization and follow‑up skills
• Understanding of deadlines and their business impact
• Detail oriented
• Ability to learn software programs as needed
• Previous experience in the Aerospace industry is a plus but will train

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• College preferred but not required.
• Experience with Verisurf Software.
• Experience with Faro Laser Tracker.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
