What you'll do
  • Build jigs and fixtures to print and to customer requirements.
  • Compute missing dimensions; lay out designs across a range of materials.
  • Set and coordinate reference points and tooling holes using precision methods.
  • Lead a small team assembling tooling components for aerospace clients.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and rework tooling as needed.
  • Create clear sketches for the fabrication department.
  • Operate equipment as needed: lathes, Bridge ports, and grinders.
  • Handle additional duties as assigned.
What you’ll bring
  • 5+ years as a fixture builder within aerospace.
  • Geometric tolerancing knowledge and blueprint fluency.
  • Catia V5 and Enovia familiarity (a plus).
  • Strong math, written, and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organization, follow-up, and deadline awareness.
  • Exposure to ISO 9001 and AS91000 quality systems (desired).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
