Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Operate and calibrate advanced measurement tools including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to ensure accuracy in complex parts.
- Collect, analyze, and document data related to product quality, identifying trends and areas for improvement through thorough analysis skills.
- Support quality assurance initiatives by participating in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions for non-conforming products.
- Collaborate with production teams to facilitate quality control measures during manufacturing, ensuring products meet all specifications before release.
Experience
- Proven experience working within manufacturing environments with a strong focus on quality control and inspection processes.
- Hands-on experience operating precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Demonstrated ability to perform quality audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and generate actionable insights.
- Knowledge of quality systems management (QMS), QA/QC procedures, and documentation practices essential for maintaining compliance.
