Residential/light commercial HVAC installer

We are a locally owned and operated heating and cooling company looking for a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing residential and light commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation systems according to manufacturer specs, Michigan mechanical code, and company standards. You will remove old equipment, set and start up new systems, and ensure every job is safe, clean, and code‑compliant while providing professional, courteous service to our customers.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of residential/light commercial HVAC installation experience (or equivalent schooling plus field experience).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and simple blueprints.
• Working knowledge of HVAC fundamentals, refrigeration cycle, airflow, gas piping, venting, and low‑voltage controls.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs, work in attics, crawlspaces, basements, on ladders, and in varying weather conditions.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
